DPF and DPFH Dosing Feeders are engineered to order from proven JVI design standards. Pre-existing design standards allow a custom feeder to be to quickly and easily mnaufactured for any application. Standard options can be included on a JVI vibratory feeder to make the customization process simple. Each option can be independently modified to fit the application. Some common options are listed below.

Models

The most obvious and first option choice that has to be made is
"Do you need an integrated hopper?"

• DPF - feeder trough and electromagnetic vibratory drive only
• DPFH - includes integrate hopper package with adjustable bed depth
  
  Standard hoppers are available or they can be engineered
  to fit your requirements.

Discharge Opening

The discharge opening of an DPF can be either horizontal or vertical. The application requirements will determine the most effective orientation for the discharge.

Trough Shapes

Pan style troughs are well suited for most other applications and can be fitted with a dust tight cover.

 

 

 

 

Tube shaped troughs are ideal for environments where dust control is an issue. Dust protection sleeves can be added to the discharge and inlet of the tube feeder to further inhibit dust escaping to the surrounding environment.

 

 

V-troughs are ideal for feeding products one by one and for indiviual dispensing.

 

Material of Construction

JVI light duty Dosing Feeders can be manufactured with mild steel, stainless steel and for sanitary and food grade processing. Special liners are also available, see Accessories.
