The JVI DPF Dosing Feeder controller delivers zero to 100% linear adjustable feed rate via a set point potentiometer or a remote signal from a PLC. To avoid affecting product flow the controller compensates for voltage fluctuations of ±10% in order to maintain exact feed rates. An enclosure is available for the controller with on/off switch and power indication light.

One feature that makes the JVI Dosing Feeder stand out is the superior feed rate accuracy of the AviTeq Vibtronic controller. JVI did in-house testing to determine accuracy of it’s own controller versus an competitor's controller. As shown in the below graph, the JVI controller has the greatest range of precise, linear feed rate adjustment. Dosing feeders are generally used in applications requiring only relatively small feed rates. These same applications commonly require precise feed rate adjustability. Adjustment is often automated through PLC logic such as in loss in weight systems. The JVI controller was developed specifically as a response to the needs for a consistent reliable control in precise feeding applications.
